Panasonic TV will not start and red light continuosly blinks?

Panasonic Viera TV TC-L55E50 went off and upon restart stays on briefly and then red light continues to blink. Does anyone have a solution? I have replaced the Power board and no change.

The TC-L55E50 has an optical output located on the rear of the TV. Simply connect the optical cable from the TV to the amplifier.

No Sound on my Panasonic TC-L55E50

simple things to do:

Look first to see if have sound when a DVD etc connected to a rear audio/video input has sound, this rules some things out.

Look in menu to see if for some reason the speakers in the set got switched to OFF.
