Can i use connect dongle as wireless adapter

Yes definitely ,I think i need lots more information about router version, IEEE standard.
basically adapter that uses mobile phone networks to provide broadband as a WiFi Dongle while USB WiFi adapter can be used to connect your PC to and existing wirless network provided by a wireless router.
but first you should find out what kind of Internet router you are using and always purchase a Wi-Fi adapter that is compatible with the Wi-Fi standard of your wireless router.

As soon as i went from a 'B' to a 'G' router, my internet has slowed dow , worse than dial-up

The Belkin Wireless G Router lets users share files and a broadband Internet connection among their computers-without using networking cables. It features 802.11g technology that makes accessing files and networked peripherals-such as hard drives, printers, CD-ROMs, and DVDs-easier than ever. 802.11g technology provides you with networking speeds nearly five times faster than the current Wi-Fi (802.11b) standard. An integrated, 4-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch also allows you to connect wired computers to the network. 802.11g technology is the easiest wireless network to implement. The Router uses the wireless 802.11g 2.4GHz standard to offer you 400 feet of wireless coverage. 802.11g technology is backward compatible with the 802.11b Wi-Fi networking standard, so it allows you to implement faster wireless technologies in combination with existing 802.11b Wi-Fi networks.

so if use "g" type router the speed cannot be slow there may be some other problem....that let the internet speed down....check that......

PS3 and N band routers

Hey Swolestevo,

In order for your PS3 to connect to a wireless network, the router itself will need to be compliant with either the 802.11b or 802.11g legacy Wi-Fi standard. If you're not sure if a given 802.11n router is compatible with either of these previous standards, I'd strongly suggest contacting the manufacturer for more information. Generally, you should be able to find a full detailed list of the wireless standards that any given router is compatible with by visiting the manufacturer's website.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
