Yahoo Messenger I got the same problem, everytime i open the yahoo messenger in my blackberry storm, it says "service not enabled for this handheld"

You have to downloaded the Yahoo messenger then you need to create a yahoo email id to login on Blackberry Yahoo messenger.

Just simply create one yahoo id and login in your blackberry messenger.

As you have smart phone so do it smartly !

One more thing you can download by Facebook from your blackberry services to get your side online on FB too.

Where are you Downloading it from?
Are you trying to download it to your computer and then push it to your Phone?
Are you able to use rest of the programmes that you uses mobile internet?
Were you able to use it in the earler times?

maybe you have to wipe your device and load the os like always

check with your service provider to make sure you have the correct plan to use yahoo messenger. most providers call it social networking (myspace twitter, facebook etc)

For that download yahoo mesanger from blackberry browser and install in blackberry then you can sing in yahoo messenger with black berry When you install yahoo in bb all settings are automatically done.

The way out to solving this problem is that you should contact your service provider and also check your phone setting .

Did you set up your number and device in Preferences for Yahoo Messenger from your worksstation/laptop before attempting to link from your handheld device?

Cause
The BBFS2 [YHO] and BBFS1 [BBIMConfig] service books for Yahoo! Messenger are not present on the BlackBerry smartphone.

Resolution
Contact your service provider and request that these service books be resent to your BlackBerry smartphone.

Perhaps, use one of the thrid party IM apps, Fringe, Nimbuzz, etc. It might not address your issue directly, but it is a viable work around.
