Have a Hitachi AXM649U Micro Hifi System, cannot get the DAB radio to tune at all!
When I set the system to DAB, it tells me RETUNE TO C. / No signal
How do I tune to C! Where do I go.....have tried moving the aerial higher, left and right, still nothing!

I am sorry to say that there is no way for you to get into the region selection menu once you have changed your region once . The only people who can fix/change this for you are the folks at Hitachi. It's a pity that you changed your region from all to 2...I always prefer all regions...
Use the rotary Tune/Select control on the HiFi itslef, or the two triangle buttons on the remote control to highlight each mode option until it goes to DAB Radio or FM Radio.
Short press the Tune/Select control on the HiFi or the Select button on the remote control to select the option.
If that works, the manual at the link below is compatible with your equipment.
Original manual found - note the Model No. is listed as SC-EN38DB i.e. complete system (main unit = SA-EN38DB; speakers = SB-EN38; remote control = N2QAYB000245):
"Press and hold (PLAY MODE) until 2DAB AUTO SCAN' appears. When a frequency is tuned by Auto scanning on this unit, the ensemble corresponding to the frequency is displayed for approximately 2 seconds"
plug it and with power on but don't turn the station on, leave it in standby mode. then press and hold mem/set on your remote. then set the hour and press mem/set to move onto the minutes. when done press mem/set again and your time is sorted.
push the funtion button till dab bomes up on the screen then push in the info button and it will start to retune dab. for a total reset just push the select button 1 second after you hold the info button for 5 seconds
Sounds like what happened to my Sharp DAB receiver recently . - Swtch OFF completely from all power sources and proceed with the recommended RESET function.
Move set and/or aerial to be sure of a good strong signal before attempting a complete re-start and full AutoTune as per the instruction manual.
This operation certainly cured my problem although I never have found out what caused the failure in the first place!!!
