Check for icing of the evaporator (cooling) coil located behind the cover on the back wall inside. There is a cooling coil with a fan to supply the cold air for the refrigerator. Otherwise you might have a control board issue. The iced coil is much more likely. There are repair kits for ice build up and/or defrost problems. To get the proper parts for Samsung you must supply all the ID numbers including full model, full serial number and BOM number (if it has one.)
this is the control board you will need for your model if unplugging the unit for 5 minutes doesn't fix the problem. If they are LED lights, then I point my finger at this. This is a plug and play board with molex connectors. Very easy to install with unit unplugged. You can manually reset the display and check for error codes by holding the top left and top right button on your user interface for 5 seconds in unison FOR 5 or more seconds after all the lights flash.
With not knowing the model number I will give a general answer but keep
in mind most Sony (it is posted here as a Sony) have a blink code where
front power light blinks a specific error code----3 or 5 or some number
of blinks and pause and repeats---that with the model number might
narrow it down.
Transformers fail on your power supply board. Go to the Sharp website put the model number in and serial number and in order and you can order a replacement parts. You can find out how to replace it via YouTube it's not as hard as you think
Hi there, I have the same problem with my samsung side by side the model no is- RSA 1Wtmh . The light started blinking after a power cut and the elec came back on and the fridge light just blinks on panel instead of showing temp (the fridge and freezer are working)?
I have a Samsung fridge model no. RS2556sh. We lost power and when the power came back on the fridge did not. The LED is blinking in the top right corner and the lights or on inside the fridge but not cooling in either side. It doesn't sound like the compresser or any of the fans are coming on. So, what's wrong?
