My Haier portable washing machine wont do spin cycle

My guess is that your drain hose is too high. The pump is in the base of the washer and pushes the water up the tube and into the drain/ when the pump stops, the residual water in the hose drops back into the base of the machine, so the higher the hose, the greater the column of water.

Try a power cycle before replacing any parts. You can also turn your dial counter clockwise and retest the wash. Otherwise, I would suggest setting up an appointment with home depot to get a full list of parts that need to be replaced in your washer.

Try it with a few clothes placed along the outer walls of the drum. It has a sensor that will try to balance the load before going up to full speed but if there are no clothes or weight in the drum, it won’t start.

It sounds like a control problem. I assume it is electronic, and if so try another control board but be sure you can return it if it does not solve your problem.

I would replace the pump impeller first!

gwt450aw mine was washing but was not spinning and was loud like many others have posted. Seems the electronic drive motor had washer type ring inside the middle of the motor that was wavey from heat guess if happens over time. The friction was over heating the motor till it would stop working. Took that part off works fine. Once you've inside you can tell there is no need for it. Given the position of the motor. FYI the drive motor is under 10 year warranty from haier with proof of purchase for the date.

You either have a bad solenoid, timer, loose belt, or water level sensor.

It is possible that presence of moisture within the START button can trigger the cycle to continue as it keep the processor to continue the wash cycle,Hence you must remove the panel and board after disconnecting the wiring harness and use a hair dryer to warm off any presence of moisture on the panel and board. Do it with time to ensure there is no moisture within the panel.
I think this must solve the issue. Repeat the work many times as sometimes moisture and dirt together might form a conductive bond to trigger as a pressed on switch. If possible open panel to clean switch pad.

get rid of it. I had two of these that did the same thing. people all over the internet are suffering with haier washing machines! They are utter rubbish and I will never buy haier again!
