Haier HLP24E won't spin.

Our Haier washer won't spin. We opened the back and found a silver piece with one white plastic end that seemed to be broken off. If this sounds familiar, could it be fixed?

What's causing a Haier HLP24E mini washer to keep throwing a UL unbalanced load error code right before spin cycle?

Take the 4 screws out of the top section, lift up the whole top. You will see a bar. You must lift the top so the bar raises above the drum. Take the screws out of the plastic cover and check the bar .it has 2 round ends that rest in two holes. If it came out of one simply place it back in the hole. You will hear it click when pressing it. Put back together. Problem solved.

Haier HLP20E washing machine won't spin & drain.

Haier HLP20E washing machine won spin drain Google Search

Cause 1Lid Switch Assembly The lid switch assembly prevents the washer from spinning when the lid is open. If the lid switch assembly fails, the washer will not spin. To determine if the lid switch assembly is defective, use a multimeter to test the lid switch for continuity. If the lid switch does not have continuity, replace it.
Parts Cause 2Motor Coupling
The motor coupling connects the motor to the washing machine transmission. If the washer is overloaded, the motor coupling will fail in order to protect both the motor and transmission. The motor coupling can also fail due to normal wear. Inspect the motor coupling to determine if it is broken. If the motor coupling is broken, replace it.
Parts Cause 3Drive Belt
Inspect the drive belt to determine if it is broken or if it is loose on the pulleys. If the drive belt is broken or loose, replace it.

How can I reset a Haier Portable Washer? I have HLP24E. It shows UL (unbalanced load) after I choose Rinse&Spin or Spin, and never spins even the washer is empty..

Try it with a few clothes placed along the outer walls of the drum. It has a sensor that will try to balance the load before going up to full speed but if there are no clothes or weight in the drum, it won’t start.

Haier hlp23e jolting noise spin

You need to level it again. (the knobs on the bottom of it are threaded so you can adjust them to make them level, it can be time consuming, so it is best to start with the one that is shortest.

Maytag atlantis washer doesnt spin on spin cycle, also found plastic shavings in clothes, appear to be coming from the top outer edge of the tub, a white plastic trim piece. wash cycle seems to work fine...

There can be several causes, the drum off balance would cause the shavings during spin cycle , balance could be one of the the balancing mechanism failed and not running could be the balance sensor shutting down the spin cycle. You should start by checking the balance shocks .

Washer will not begin spin cycle

Hello,It needs a drive coupler for the motor/transmission.
Unplug machine. Just lean the machine back, pop the two clips on the pump and put it to the side. Take the two screws out of the motor clips (usually 1/4 inch), and pop those clips off. Motor will come off. You will see the 3 fingered white piece on the motor shaft and one on the transmission shaft. There is a rubber coupler that connects the two. Replace which ever white plastic piece is broken, or the rubber piece if that is it. Make sure not to bang the white plastic piece too far onto the shaft. The shaft should go flush with the white plastic part facing you. Put motor and pump back together and plug in motor.

Thanks

The drum of my washer does not spin freely. When I manually spin the drum, I found myself having to push it along to turn on one side. Also I found pieces of white plastic on my laundry? Please advise...

This drum is driven by motor which is coupled with a belt that connects the drum and the motor, the is a possibility of a broken belt,or the motor is stack, may be the motor is not receiving power for the motor to be driven to drive the drum.

To access this you need to open the screws at the back of the washer, the plastic pieces is a sign of some broken parts in the washer,if you find that it's the belt that slept off the puller place it back and test but unplug the washer from power before doing all this.
