I would also check the speaker outputs from the deck. If any of the speaker outputs are touching any metal on the vehicle, it could give that message.

SOURCE: Another one with Faceplate buttons not working?

The capacitors in these plates tend to burn out quickly for being so hot and lack of air cooling circulation. You can test all connection pins on the deck and faceplate with an ohmmeter in ohm setting to see which pins is not sending 25-30 ohms or 5 volts of power

Basically I have the same problem that has been displayed a lot on this site. My pioneer DEH-P7800MP display won't show when the face closes. When the face opens up all the buttons and lights and display...

The faceplate and head unit is is attached via a flat ribbon cable. (Caution only continue if you have some courage). If you open the faceplate you will see that the ribbon cable is seated in too a flat connector on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). This connector has a locking mechanism on it that when locked presses the contacts of the cable to the connector. Ensure that the cable is seated properly and that the latch or the lock is in the locked position. Assuming that the tension lessons when the unit is closed so it draws away from the connector and when the unit is open it pulls tension creating a contact. If you see no signs of mishap on this end of the connector try the other end.
Hope this helps.

Pioneer DEH-P6500 head unit doesnt turn on

Check your radio fuse. It is likely if you didn't disconnect your battery terminal that you may have blown a fuse.
About the speaker distortion, you may need to install filters to each speaker. They are not very expensive and can be found at just about any electronics store.

XM radio portion just quick working..display on DEH-P6500 reads "antenna"..any things we can try out?

No experience with this issue, but in your shoes I would check the satellite antenna connection into the back of the unit. From there, I would chase the wire and make sure it is not frayed. If that does not resolve or lead to a resolution of the issue, borrow an XM antenna and see if it will work then. If not, then something has happened internally with the head unit, most likely at the antenna connection jack.

Pioneer DEH 1700 not working now

I'm guessing that you wired the 2 units together including the speakers? the 2 units may be of different potentials and can't be wired together like that...they would need diodes or a relay to isolate one from another.. first you need to see if you toasted each of these by separating the wiring and trying them separately...just a thought

Cellular mute button

The yellow/black wire at the back of the head unit may be grounded. Make sure it's not pinched or shorting on anything.
