Most of my ds lite touch screen is not responding

When i turn on my ds lite the warning screen shows up when touch it to go to settings it wont respond and i cant even calibriate my touch screen. if anyone got an answer post it please!

Try getting to the calibration menu with the buttons and calibrate if u can if not send it in to nintendo for repairs

Thats normal, there should be a flashing part of writting at the bottem of the screen saying "touch the screen to continue" just touch the screen.

Ok, I may be able to help you.
One is it new?
Two is it Damaged in any way
Three does it still have a warrenty?
four Can you post pictures (LCD may be dammaged)

Ds lite

sorry to say that your top screen needs completely replacing if it is doing as described!!
the bottom screen and the touch screen are seperate, jus mounted on top of each other, so if the picture works on the bottom then the bottom screen is fine just the touch screen is broken. again i think if the cables/ribbons are in correctly and it isn't responding then it will need replacing!!

Touch screen wont respond

double check that both cable/ribbons are connected properly to the motherboard, the small thin ribbon which curls over the top of the motherboard is the one which powers and reads the touch screen so double check this!!
if this is all in fine then im sorry to say your touch screen is broken and will need replacing!

When you start up your ds, go to ds settings and touch the touch screen calibration. touch the stylus EXACTLY to the target thing. then try the game again.
