Pilot light blows out while heater gets hot. Mr Heater 30000 but gentles propane wall heater.

I would clean the pilot assembly first before replacing parts. Alllot of times the pilot will stay lit with just the pilot on but will go out with the main burner on. The reason is that with the main burner on there is a draft that pulls the pilot flame away from the thermocouple.

My 32000 btu unit lights and runs when it reaches desired temp and shuts off the pilot stays on and you hear a click then a minute later a second click and the pilot light shuts off.

The clicking you are hearing is the gas valve trying to open but because the pilot light is out the valve shut back off. Sounds like the thermocouple is bad on the unit. The thermocouple sits net to the pilot light and allows the gas valve to open. Hope this helps.

Any idea why my Atwood water heater will shut the main burner and the pilot light off at the same time? Sometimes runs for 20 minutes, sometimes 2. I hear a clicking sound, then they both shut off.

The thermostat shuts off the main burner. The pilot light gas is controlled by the thermocouple which the side of the pilot flame has to envelop. If the flame is too small or too far away from the flame, it shuts the gas off to the pilot. The thermocouple generates a small voltage which keeps the pilot gas open. It can over time fail itself, so look at replacing it. The thermostat sounds like it's failing too.

I have a 30000 btu rinnai floor heater mod 630530. The pilot wont stay lit . I have installed a new thermo couple . please help

be sure the thermocouple is in the pilot's flame and hold down the pilot lighting button long enough to heat it before trying to operate the heater...20 to 30 seconds should be enough. If this doesn't work, you may have a bad gas valve

I have a pro com 30000 btu vent free heater.it keeps shutting off.how do I fix it.

If the thermocouple is bad, the pilot light will not stay lit. Sometimes the pilot will stay lit but when the unit turns on the gas for heat, things change a bit and the nearly bad thermocouple doesn't see the flame it should and causes the gas to shut off.
You can google the make / model of your unit with the word 'thermocouple' and see replacements for sale. Usually not much more than $25. Thermocouple Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

30,000 btu wall mount reddy heater nat. gas. pilot lights and heater will run for about a min. then i hear a click in the main control and everything shuts down. Is this the double safety i read about...

Yes your pilot light may not be surrounding the thermocouple. Check and see it the pilot is burning blue and surrounds the thermocouple . These units are very sensitive if even a little breeze across the unit. You can clean the pilot with compressed air or maybe even a small wire brush. If this doesn't work you may have to change the thermocouple.

Pilot Lights when control knob is depressed, but goes out when knob is released to light main burner

Check that the pilot light is directed at the thermocouple, a copper 'tube' that heats up when the pilot light is lit. You should be able to see a copper coloured small tube that the pilot light is directed at - if the pilot flame is not heating that tube then the main burner will not light.

If the thermocouple is being heated correctly, then it could be a fault with the thermocouple itself (can be replaced) or the gas valve.

If the pilot flame is not heating the end of the thermocouple you should be able to adjust its position so that the pilot flame is directed at it more accurately.

My dyna glo needs a new thermocoupler, where to get one, it is armc-50 ngt,lpt-30000 btu/hr thermostat

These thermocouples rarely go bad. The oxygen sensing pilot will get dust in it and shut down making you think you have a bad thermocouple.
