I'm new to record players. So I got a furniture piece with rca record player in it and it looks to me like the arm is there im able to lift it and move it back or forth and so. But there's a wire with small white clip like on the end of the wire and on the arm there's nothing like wires or anything attached to it. So I'm not sure if this wire goes to this or how it goes on it haha. Also the cartridge is not there that I can tell on the end of the arm. I can provide pictures I just really want to get this record player going. I did find the cartridge for around 150. But like I'm not sure if the wir with the white clip on the end of it goes underneath the arm itself orr?? And than maybe plugs into the cartridge? I really need help. I found a manual online paid 6.99 for it pdf copy but I don't really get what I'm looking at lol. I would greatly appreciate some help....

What the picture doesn’t show are the 4 thin color coded wires traveling from the cartridge through the tone arm and down to the amplifier. More than likely your white wire is ground. Your record player (turntable) has a ceramic cartridge. The picture shows a magnetic cartridge. The wiring is basically the same except for ground wire.

One that has a scart socket at least.it is the RCA connectors that are usually missing off the newer sets.nearly all new are hdmi so if there are no scart sockets or RCA you will need to buy an RCA to hdmi convertor to use old equipment.....otherwise upgrade to a hard drive unit with DVD capability and transfer all you videos over.
Your new cd player/recorder is a "component piece" as is your turntable, cassette player, reel to reel or CD player. Connect it as you would any other component piece of stereo equipment. Set up your recorder to "record" in real time(not high speed or synch record). Your tape recorder records anything that is playing through your reciever to your speakers. So, treat your "CD" recorder as you would a "CASSETTE TAPE" recorder. Play your vinyl record on your turntable and record to CD on your CD recorder ! Pay special attention to the dubbing speed, you will not use "synch or high speed !! Good Luck
Solved the problem...returned the player to Walmart and chose a different brand. Spent too many hours with tech support and online...decided it was probably a defective MP3 player. Thanks for checking!

go to the rca website www.rca.com and look under support for cd burners look up ur model and find parts list then call or email rca to send you distributors number and call them order part pick it up and install it good luck with it
You sure it's recognizing the CDR? And you are using 'consumer audio' cdr? Watch it at all times. If it 'opc fails' after you put a blank in it still shows as a CDR and 0:00 on the display but won't record. It's easy to miss.
