Probably the main burner safety valve. Possibly a fault with the fan.

It is a gas appliance so you can't work on it yourself. You need a gas certified appliance engineer to diagnose and fix.

Why won't gas dryer heat up

Check the circuit board that makes the spark to light the flame. Under normal operation, the board opens the gas valve for a very short period of time while it generates the spark. If the flame sensor doesn't feel the flame it will shut off the gas valve to prevent an explosion. The flame sensor could be too far away from the flame edge or not working any more as well as the spark portion of the board. The gas valve itself may not be responding to the circuit board too.

Ge gas dryer heats but doesnt dry

if the flame is lighting you have lint blocking the air flow either in the dryer or in the vent line, also if you have a flame for the first 10 to 20 minutes and then the flame doesn't light you have bad gas coils located on top of the gas valve, when the coils are bad they can work for the first 10 to 20 minutes until the coils get hot and then they fail and you'll see the ignitor glowing orange but no flame, bad gas coils.then when the coils cool down they can work again.hope this helps.you can try removing the vent line from the back of the dryer and see if the flame stays on,if lint is blocking the air from blowing out the flame won't stay lit long enough to dry the clothes.

Flame does not stay on continues flame goes on then off then on

gas dryers typically just give bursts of fire and repeat these bursts al throughout the drying process. If the dryer works at first but then fails to come back on that is the solenoids. Any other problem is due to the heat control which on older models is done by a klixon on the blower housing. these newer models use a thermister. Thermisters change in resistance with temp changes. Most of yer problems is from the 4 wire klixons. These 4 wire klixons have a bias heater inside them that warms up the bimetal. This cause it to trip prematurely for knit and permpress. Over time the bimetal gets fatigued.

Gas dryer dosn't heat properly

The problem is the dryer coils are failing. They tend to fail as they heat up. They are inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/gdryertroublevideo.html

My Frigidaire gas dryer isn't hot. Otherwise it runs fine.

it could be either your ignitor(glow coil) flame sensor control, or a defective thermal switch telling dryer its at temp and shutting off gas supply before it even fires initially

It will turn but not dry i loock for the fuse end i can not find it

I never found a fuse in a dryer. If it's electric, look for a broken heating coil, they're replacable. If it's gas, you have to check all the parts: ignitor must be glowing red hot; flame sensor must be clean; and worst of all the gas valve can go bad.

Frigidaire Gas Dryer - Heats for 1-2 minutes then gas shuts off

Most of the time, the culprit is a bad gas valve coil(s). Replace those, and your dryer should return to normal operation.

Dryer heating problem

It sounds like an air flow issue. There is a flame sensor on the side of the flame housing. If the venting is not sucking the flame down the tube it will cycle very quickly and never reach the right temp.
