    Susan
no problem stated at all, just one word, jumper., Pw clear,Cmos Clear, what"?
the CMOS coin cell is dead, and is normal type, cr2032 coin.
this 2010 PC is 11 years old now. and batteries do not last long (both) in fact do now.
post the problem first, ? be best

    Password rest,
many models here, L655 , too.

page 149 in your manual (google it read it?)
    A power-on password—Prevents unauthorized users from
    starting the computer.
    ?
A supervisor password—Prohibits unauthorized users from
accessing certain functions such as TOSHIBA Hardware
Setup. This is useful if more than one person uses the
    computer.
When setting up passwords, keep the following in mind:
    ?
The user password can be set up under the supervisor
    password.
    ?
The supervisor password must be set before the user password,
or the user password must be deleted and then re-entered after
    the supervisor password is set

some of these laptops have 2 jumpers, one for super, and one for power-on Pw.

each model of PC by them have different locations of the jumpers and sure named different.
next time show failing screens. we can not guess what is wrong with the PC, lacking that photo
    or is the screen DEAD.

the BIOS PW screens all show unique prompts not told by you and matters.

7 kinds of PW there are,
    https://pcdied.com/passwords.html

if you lost the PW say so.
some of these have 3 jumpers, for 3 reasons
    see?
    and guessing will be folly.

What's your problem I NEED MY BIOS PASSWARD

To reset the Toshiba BIOS password, use software

ACPI Flash BIOS version 2.30 for Satellite L655
(support for model L655-S5101, etc)

Important
1. This release offers the option to install the BIOS directly from within Windows operating systems. To do so, simply select the 'Windows Installation' option from the Launcher menu, and click 'Ok'.
2. Please close all programs before executing the Windows-based installer.
3. It is REQUIRED that the computer be connected to AC power via the AC adapter, and that the power-save mode is set to 'Full Power' or the equivalent while installing the BIOS.

How to use:
1. Download ACPI Flash BIOS
2. Double-click the file sk2cv230.exe - select install

Describe your Satellite L655-S5101 15.6"

You don't. Updating your bios can really mess up your laptop if done improperly and keyboard issues will be the least of your trouble at that stage.

What kind of problems are you having exactly?
