My Atomic Clock runs one minute slow. Can I change that with the "Factory setting" button? Or, is there another way? I've tried unsuccessfully to manually move the minute hand.
The clock was accurate when new but changed at some point. It runs just fine otherwise.
Sadly, there are many clocks designated as atomic clocks. No search yields Atomic Clock as a brand itself. Clocks and watches usually have procedures so complicated by the time you finish reading them, you can't see straight enough to tell the time. I think you need to do a google search for atomic clock but attach the brand to that plus user manual. If it is a famous brand, there might even be a YouTube video regarding adjusting it. If you don't have the instructions, it will be perplexing. Even the brand site may not offer sufficient help. https://www.amazon.com/atomic-clocks/s?k=atomic+clock&dc&ref=a9_sc_1

Then press Adjust (the middle button) to select the correct time zone. Press Mode again to exit the settings mode. To manually set the time, you need to remove the battery from the clock. This is more of a Clarification than a solution. I've determined that the SS-5000 is not recognizing the changes to DST that happened in 2007.
From 1986 to 2006 this was the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday
in October, but starting in 2007, it is observed from the second Sunday
in March to the first Sunday in November, adding about a month to
daylight saving time.
So in March the clock is still trying to keep the "earler" time and in November it's trying to keep the 'later' time.
I'm contacting HomeMedics Support to see if there's a resolution.
