I have the kenwood kdc-mpv622 and trying to switch to AUX. I have the AV to AUX cord set up and plugged into my phone. I press the SRC button but only "Tuner" and "All Off" are options. Help?

According to the manual, the aux input for the mpv622 is an optional accessory. If it's installed, you select the aux input by pressing the [SRC] button. Select the AUX/AUX1 display. Then press the [DISP] button for two seconds. The selected input blinks. Press the ? or ? to change the input setting.

Wire kenwood kdcmpv622

This is very hard to explain on the internet. So to answer your question honestly very friggin carefully. Go to an audio shop and ask them. Talking to them is free. Dont have to buy anything as long as you habe the base the new plug and your ready to get sweaty messing with wires for an hour. Oh. Some people set up the audio with the radio playing music some ppl dont. Its a choice thing but if its raining and stuff dont do it tht day.

I dont get any sound radio, sirris,or cd

Is there something new that was installed or modified in your car recently, even if it's not related to electronics? (even trailer hitches, running board, etc)

Have you checked if there was a ground leak at each speakers?

Are you using an amplifier other than the one in your kenwood reciever?

Code does not work

According to Kenwood's car audio FAQ, the stereo needs to be brought to a Kenwood service center to be decoded. You may run into a problem, however, as Kenwood requires a receipt or other proof of purchase in order to prove you are the rightful owner of the radio.

Good luck, I hope this was helpful, even if it maybe wasn't the answer you would like to hear.
