do you have the model number i know the door has to be open to see it,if not look at your paperwork or send a picture of dryer to see what model you have,there's just a plastic catch that holds the door closed so try lifting up and down on the door or with a screw driver and push on the handle,it should pop open,if it's a newer dryer here's a video on how to change the door around,just showing you this so you can see the parts on the door,there isn't anything electric to hold the door shut like a washer so you might have to get forceful with it

The latch mechanism is not fulling grabbing and the door pops open. By bending either the door mechanism or the chassis mechanism so parts are tighter you can restore proper operation.

Short answer - $5 door switch. I've dealt with this at least 3 times in the last 5 years on Frigidaire, Electrolux & Whirlpool dryers. I certainly hope it's the right fix action for you as well. Cheers.

I understand that your Electrolux dryer (CDE7700LW0) door indicates it is open and your dryer will not operate. Let's try resetting your dryer by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your dryer. Are control boards plug and play? On my Electrolux efmg627uiw0 gas dryer, I replaced both PCBA's on the control panel. When I plug it In the control panel cycles through every cycle (the light come on) in order. It just keeps going in that loop. I would think this is a software issue, but Im unsure. Any wisdom?

Electrolux Fan oven not heating up I've just moved into a house which has an Electrolux EOB3400AOX built in fan oven. It takes a long time to heat up. The thermostat light is on all the time so it's demanding heat. The fan is running, sucking air in from the oven. The element is heating up the back panel (which I've not taken off yet). The ventilation fan is blowing cool air out of the top of the door. I can't feel any heated air being blown around the oven, I also can't see the vents this should be coming from. Could they be blocked with grease or are there any other possibilities I've not thought of? Thanks
