Question about Candy Refrigerators

Candy CPCA240FFK top fridge door seal required?

Hi all, Does anyone know where I can buy a new fridge door seal for my Candy CPCA 240 FFK. Measurements of existing seal are approx. 524mm x 603mm All the ones I can see online for this model number seem to be for the larger bottom freezer door; 526 x 747mm. I need the slightly smaller fridge door one. If anyone can recommend someone/somewhere I'd be very grateful. TIA

Hi Candy Master, thats a great name btw lol...
Thanks for your reply and those links, but I have visited each one and all are the wrong size for what I need. Hence me including some measurements.

I have an old CPCA240FFK as the sticker inside suggests, as well as in the manual. These door seals will fit the bottom freezer door as that is bigger than the top fridge door.
I have measured, measured, and measured again to make sure I am not mistaken, but these seals are bigger than my fridge door, that not even 700mm, so definitely not 747mm.

The width of the door, 524, or actual 526 is neither here nor there, that will fit fine. But 603 compared to 747mm is way too big.

I dont understand how one model no. can have different sized doors... unless mine is so old... or has had the wrong label stuck in it. I need a door seal closer to my specific measurements.

    Any ideas?

Hi again Robert. 'Candy Master' is added by the site as well as 'GE Master', LG Master', or Hotpoint Master' depending which question I am answering. 'Admin Canada' was the name I gave myself, 'Andrew' is my given name.

What I would so is phone a local company to your country like eSpares and talk to them. If a door gasket (the proper name) is dependent on the Model Number AND Serial Number, they will tell you.

Here is one on eBay, you can see it says both doors are the same gasket, which is unlikely even though they do has some stretch. This advert shows yours in the drop down list.

This seal measures 747 x 526mm and can be used on either the fridge or freezer door, depending on your model. White Fridge / Freezer Door Seal - 747 X 526mm
Fits the following Candy Fridge & Freezer Models: Click on down arrow below.

I checked for door gaskets in your size and they don't exist. Copy and paste this. Don't remove the "quotes".

Candy cpca240ffk compressor running.

i don't have a diagram but im familiar with that problem its either a bad relay on the compressor a bad thermal over load in the relay box mounted on the compressor terminals or a bad compressor don't know where you live im in usa here you can get an after market relay with a start capacitor and if its not the compressor will fix the problem

Check to see that the front of the fridge is raised at least 1/4 of an inch higher than the back.
