Do you use dryer sheets? The chemical in dryer sheets seal up the little holes in the lint filters. To test, take the lint filter to the sink and see if it holds water. If it does, give it a good scrub and toss out the dryer sheets.
What is the model number? Exactly which parts did you check? Also, check the breakers. The breakers are 220 and one of them may have thrown not allowing it to heat but the dryer will run.
I just want to put this information in the Internet because I found nothing but an accurate and incomplete information. The Bosch 300 series electric dryer absolutely, positively, does have a reset switch. To access it you have to take the entire back plate off the dryer. There are like 30 torques screws. Takes forever. When viewing the back of the dryer down on the lower right there is a silver box shaped thing that is your heating element. Next to it is a red button. While googling I've found a dialogue between a repair man and a customer and the repairman said he looked at the schematic I did not have a reset switch. That information is wrong
I too had this problem and it drove me and my husband crazy! We have the 300 series washer/dryer. You just turn on any cycle on the main dial, and then press both of the Option buttons. A short beep = Off. A long or double beep = On. Try it a couple of times and you will hear the difference.
You can visit the Bosch website, go under service locator, enter your zip and get an 800 number. They will walk you through it on the phone, which is what I finally did.
The machine will only take water from the hot tap when it is set to a 95degree wash, it will heat the water on all other cycles itself. apparently an energy saving feature.
I just had the same problem, motor runs but no heat. I had a fun time figuring out how take the front panel off, hint the rubber seal comes off easily. It looks like mine tripped the resettable over heat sensor. So far so good.
