Question about Fisher Washing Machines
The machine just stopped mid cycle and I can see the drum is off balance, leaning towards the bottom right. It looks like the red spring is still attached, the legs are on evenly and the machine is on a tiled, flat surface. Any ideas how I can fix this? Have removed the clothes and water. The machine always sounded as though it was going to explode when it was doing its spin cycle so thinking it might have come off something?! It is at least 10 years old I would say but was working fine before this. thanks

There are 3 to 4 spring assays that holds the drum from inside that need to be replaced every 2 to 3 years of using.
ask the dealer for replacement parts and you can replace the assays by yourself easily by leaning the drum to one side and unhook the spring assay from the top then push it downside gently to unhook it from the bottom. Do them one-by-one and don't unhook all of them at once.
hope this would help you
