If this isn't anything that you want to do, then you should take it back (send it back) to the outfit that worked on it; they should fix it for free (assuming it's within their warranty period, usually 30 or 90 days).

I have this same make and maodel fridge and it was doing the the it was always on and using around 3kw a day so went and bought a new one this new one uses less than 1kw a day its a big outley buying a new one but worth it in the end. i hope tis helps

Go to www.super-electric.com and send them a message about your problem. They have parts. I can't tell you if they will help you or not, I have just emailed them today as well. I have both sides of my 1 year old water cooler leaking, model W074DRF11BQD. (from Zellers) I have hardwood floors and I would rather throw this unit away than risk water damage. If anyone is reading this and thinking of purchasing one of these Bellagio water coolers, spend your money elsewhere - THEY LEAK!. My husband is very handy and has just spent 2 hours on it with NO success. The parts are defective - this unit is NOT full of complex working parts. One plastic part causes pressure on the valve and causes a leak(s). After light usage and nothing damaging it, 8 months old one side went and the other side has been leaking for a couple of days and we are just coming up to a year. If anyone else had this problem and fixed it, I would love to hear the solution.

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again. If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour.

If it's been arcing for years, I would suspect your waveguide is damaged and cannot be repaired in addition to the magnetron.

You would have to pay labor. It's generally about $75 to visit you and $90 to do the work.

GE Customer Service is here in case you want to see if they will cover labor or replace the oven, but I doubt it.

one would surely assume that a product would last more than 5 months. of course you know not to put metal in a microwave, so the real question is, have you ever cooked bacon in it? I can assure you that this is a very bad idea, as the grease gets sucked up into the fan and distributed all over the sensitive circuitry inside the unit. mine actually caught on fire while cooking bacon, so now we are back to the skillet. in conclusion, the micron is probaly fried in it and it is not worth fixing. chunk it and get a new one.

It may be within the dealer exchange period (usually 30 days). If so, that's the best bet.

But if you've had it too long to exchange it, you'll have to call Sharp for free service under warranty.
