Hi i have a Samsung 13Kg Wobble Tech. And when it is doing the spin cycle on Rinse or spine it start to make a grinding noise. It does not spin at high speed. It sounds like a gear is locking and then releasing. What could be the problem. The wash cycle works. But the cloths are still very wet when it comes out.

Fisher & Paykel Pride 5.5 Smartdrive 8 not spining

There is a transmission clutch that engages for the spin cycle. A gear has worn or broken a tooth. Replacement of the transmission hispeed spin cycle assembly is required.

The other comments are of no use. You must get parts from an Authorized Fisher & Paykel dealer, or have an authorized repairman service the machine.

Washer transmission dead?

Hi,
From your description, it sounds like the drum bearings have failed. If you grab the drum (power off, of course) it will probably wobble around a lot more than it should, and there might be metallic debris in the removable filter. White clothes may have been getting greasy spots on them recently.

Does any of this fit the bill with you? I hope it helps a bit to find out what's wrong.
If these suggestions do help you solve the problem, please give my reply a rating to help others judge my knowledge / guessing skills. If they do not, please add a comment with more details so I can try to help you further. Cheers, D

Washing machine not spining

You may have a problem with the rotor position sensor. This sensor is situated on the motor windings and should really be replaced by a qualified tech.
