no CD told what is on that CD on the TOP of the CD.
I am now reading your manual to you (googled) it is hORRID manual. specs there stink bad.
it tells me this.
it will read a CD-DA (try music disk) format and MP3 and rip that to Cassette or to USB memory stick
CD-DA means compact disk, digital audio and is not in File format. it is only tracks. as seen in stores
called (lamely) music disks.
but today we have music on MP3, even sold on amazon or even WAV or FLAC.
IT does not copy any music to CD-r.
what means. pro comp CD ? I've no clue nor does google show any results.

for a fact I can hold in my hands 100 CD disks (if careful 3 will work if bit rate is not ******* per below)
and only one plays CD_DA.(in your box,) but on MY PC all play or work in some way)

they do not spec the limits on the toy grade CD drive at all only by vague inference

post to audio devices, not to computers, but if you want to talk about CD drives, we can work that topic all day long, or in 1 min flat , if removed and the drive label is shown. most can not read CR-R disk. or the like.
some only can do, CD-DA real media.

one can see that CD audio codex has huge limits. (narrow) Never good that. as it dummies up. or makes noise.
if serious buy any desktop PC and ask me what drive to buy, it will blu-ray drive that can DO ANYTHING.

this rig you have will burn CD_DA music (read) to MP3 to a USB STICK memory stick so that is nice.
but max is poor at 4GB maximum (usb memory) fat32 I guess. some say 2GB (ouch)

what the manual does not tell you (nor spec)_
is that CD drive does NOT RECORD to IT. It plays only.
nor does it support most of the vast CD formats.(like WAV or FLAC)
it does not support most of these, read it and weep (CD_DA yes, some MP3 and some WMA)
