My LG tv is approximately 2 years old. When I turn it on, the screen changes from black to dark blue. I have audio but no picture. I don't see any changes when I try to change input. The model number is 75UK6190PUB

Do you have a multimeter and able to pull the back off and get some voltage readings?

Testimonial: "Yes, I can do that!"

Oops, I responded in the wrong spot. Yes, I can get some voltages...

  • Larry Aug 18, 2021

Ok good, go to the power board look for connector 201 and make sure you have 13.2 volts on pin 5, this voltage is critical on this model TV, it needs to be + or - .1 volts, also set the meter on AC and make sure you have under .2 volts ripple. If this voltage is ok and I think it will be but I'm not one to overlook anything let the set run for about 5 mins and see if the IC on the tcon board is getting warm, not hot but warm to the touch

Having the same exact issue with the exact same model. Replaced the tcon board, and that did nothing. Checked the voltage on pin 5 at connector 201, and not getting anything close to 13.2 volts. Time to replace the power supply board?

LG 75" tv blue screen with sound

If you received a good main and t-con, cables and plugs are good, there isn't anything left other than a panel issue. Try unhooking one flat ribbon cable at a time and see if you get half a picture.

LG Projection Screen No Picture

Hello, if the model number is correct it's not a projection tv, but an LCD tv. If that's correct, it sounds like a bad main board issue part # is AGF31218501...thanks

42 inch LG Plasma TV - Lost picture

Our LG 50" plasma tv screen went black after a popping noise but still had sound, after great diliberations decided to take the back off and have a peek!
We unplugged the tv and tested the fuses (there were three we could see) one had blown, the one on the left as you look at the back of the tv it also has one above it. We wrote the code/seriel number down and took the fuse to the electrical wholesalers Maplin and bought a pack of 10 fuses for £1.29 replaced the fuse in the tv and everything now fine!!!!!!
Hope this might be of use to anyone whose lost the picture after a loud popping/snacking noise but still has sound.
