Frigidaire control board shows a code F-11 I cleaned the contacts however unplugged a flat strip and when I assembled everything the clock does not come on unless I turn a burner on . Thinking that flat strip is not lining up properly ?
Hello friend, thanks for the post!
I understand your Frigidaire wall oven is flashing a F10 code and not heating up. Based off of that information an F10 code stands for a runaway temperature, which could be an issue with a sensor probe or oven control. It could possibly be a miscommunication with the board and that could be cleared out by resetting your appliance. To reset your appliance disconnect power to it by unplugging the oven or flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. If that step does not resolve your issue and you continue to receive the F10 code I would recommend contacting a technician to come and repair your appliance. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
Hello wills_amber - Typically, error code F1 indicates that the range has detected a runaway temperature issue (overheating). Try reprogramming the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the EOC (electronic oven control) on the range will need replacing.
Hi
Error
code F7 means that an error with the keypad has occurred. Usually it happens
due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly
itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and
then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range
Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would
be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable
is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert
the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still
there then the electronic control board should be replaced. Hope
this helps...please post back for further assistance.
