The KX-TGEA20 handset comes with several Panasonic cordless phone models, including the KX-TGE24 systems. With the phone system in standby (no calls in or out, including intercom or calls to the paired cell phone), Press the right arrow button and press the right soft key (below the LCD screen) to open the Menu. Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate to Group. Press the soft key for Select. Use the Up/Down arrows to select a specific group and press the soft key for Select. Use the arrow keys to find the Group Ringer Tone option and press the soft key for Select. Use the Up/Down arrows to pick a ringer tone and press the soft key to Save the setting. Press Off to exit the menu system. Alternatively, press Menu as needed to return to the Group menu and choose a new group to edit that ringer tone setting.

The information on setting a ring tone per group is shown on page 25 of the manual available from the product page: https://shop.panasonic.com/cordless-corded-telephones/cordless-telephones/KX-TGE240B.html?t=reviews . The current link to the manual is http://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TGE210/OI/TGE210_PNQX6358YA/TGE210_PNQX6358YA.pdf .

I hope this helps.

(Note: the group ringer tone will only work when you have subscribed to the Caller ID feature with your telephone company.)

I have a Panasonic kx-tgf570 cordless set (brand new). I'd like to assign different ring tones to different contacts. How do I do that?

The base unit is the KX-TGF570. The cordless phone system was sold as the KX-TGF572. Currently, you can find the manual at Panasonic here: http://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TGF572/OI/TGF572_PNQX8348YA/TGF572_PNQX8348YA.pdf .

Assign the contact to a group. You can then set a different ringer tone for the group. Start with the phone system in standby. To change the ringer tone for a group, press Phone Book on a handset. Select Menu. Use the Up/Down arrow keys to highlight a group, press Select. Navigate to Current Group Ringer Tone and press Select. Use the arrow keys to highlight a new Group Ringer Tone and press the soft key for Save. (See page 38 of the manual). To ad a contact to a group, you need to edit that contact. Press the phone book button and select Menu. Select a contact and press Select. Edit the contact name and number and press OK after each edit if needed. Otherwise press OK twice. Use the Up/Down arrows to select a group. Press Select twice to confirm the change. Press Off when done. (See page 39 of the manual.)

I hope this helps.

Hello i can nbot assign rigntones mto my contacts on my nokia e72

Hello Ban,

Only Group can use different ringtones, but not each contact.

You have to create Group then add contacts to the group.

Select Menu---> Contacts.

To create a contact group, scroll to each contact you want to add to the group, and select

Options > Mark/Unmark > Mark.

Select Options > Group > Add to group > Create new group, and enter a name for the group.

Add contacts to the group from option in contacts.

In the Group Option, you'll have menu to assign ringtones to the saved contacts in group.

How to assign a different ring tone for specific contacts on Nokia 5230

Groups can contain any number of contacts, and even just a single member, so you could, for instance, have one ringtone for family members, one for work colleagues and one for your partner.
To create a group, assign a ringtone and image and then select a group's members, follow these instructions:
  • From the main menu, highlight Contacts and click Select.
  • Highlight Groups and click Select.
  • Click Add (or if you have already added groups, click Options, highlight Add new group and click Select).
  • Enter a name for the group and click OK.
  • Highlight the group's name in the list and click Options.
  • Highlight Group details and click Select.
  • Highlight Group ringing tone and click Select
  • Highlight Open Gallery, click Select, locate the ringtone in your gallery and click Select to apply.
  • Highlight Group image and click Select.
  • Click Add, highlight From Gallery, click Select, locate the image in your gallery and click Select.
  • Now highlight Group members and click Select. Click Add and your contacts list will open. Highlight the contacts you want to add to the group and click Select. You can add as many contacts as you like to each group.
If you want to add contacts to an existing group, highlight the group's name on the Groups screen, click View and click Add to display your contacts list. Highlight a contact and click Select to add them.

We have a KX-T7630 Panasonic phone system and we need to attach a caller id that diplays at least 20 calls; are they all compatible or do I need to buy a specific one?

It doesn't work that way. First of all, you install a caller-id card in your system, then the installer programs a call log button on a phone. This can log all calls into an ICD group and you get a maximum of 100 records per ICD group and a minimum of 480 records per system in a TDA-50. Those numbers change for ICD groups and increase on a TDA/TDE 100 or larger system.

Unless you understand and have access to system programming, it's a dealer program function.

How do i allocate a certain ringtone to a caller

unfortunately in samsung j700...doesn't provide the facility u mentioned
but it allows user to assign particular ringtone and callerid for some group of contacts...
the group may have 1 or more contacts so saving each contacts in each seperate group may indirectly met ur requirement

By creating groups of contacts, you can assign
ringtones and caller ID photos to each group or send
messages and emails to an entire group. Start by
creating a group:
1. In Idle mode, press <Menu> → Phonebook →
Group → <Options> → Add.
2. Enter a group name and scroll down.
3. To set the caller ID image, press the Centre key
→ an image category → an image.
4. To set a group ringtone, scroll down and press
the Centre key → a ringtone category → a
ringtone.
5. Press <Save>.

sorry, it seems that they have no manual for this model online yet, however, if you go to page 20 of the manual ("http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG1032.pdf") that procedure may help. good luck!
