sounds like the couplers going, if its a traditional top loader, the coupler is in between the motor and the transmission and are meant to shear off to protect the machine from damage, overloading. they dont last forever. once you get the motor off the part is right there..
I had a front loader one time. There is a small filter before water pump. Look there. It's vert tricky. It is so full(coins, maybe).I believe that to be your problem.
Hello there and welcome to fixya From what you're describing it sounds like the drain pump is blocked.
The nd error code indicates "no drain". If the unit can't drain it won't
spin. You're going to have to slide the washer out far enough to remove
the rear panel; be careful not to damage the floor. Once you get the
rear panel off you will see the pump. Be sure to have plenty of towels
& a small container to catch water. I am sending you instructions
from the service manual to remove and replace the pump. Another
possibility is the drain line is blocked or something is stuck in the
tub to pump hose.
Sounds like the lid switch which is only about 30.00 to fix if you do it yourself. It's a little difficult but it's much better than replacing or having someone come in and do it
