If you have one or two of the original screws you get help from a your hardware store or auto parts store to fins a matching one.

Some machine shops can custom cut them if you can give a sample.

You have to use a thread gage to check the right thread type. Or try looking for similar models or brand that have been scrapped in the nearest junkyard.

Model no. pfs23kshss ge profile refridgerator left door does not match up flush on the outside with the right door. we can feel the cold air escapifridge temp was 62 degrees and freezer at 10 degrees

Gotta stop the air loss by fixing the hinges and/or replacing the door gasket. Freezer should be around zero degrees and fridge around 40 or less.

How to remove freezer door with water/ice dispenser on GE profile TFH22PRSM

TAKE OFF KICKPLATE ON BOTTOM OF UNIT. UNHOOK WATER LINE FROM QUICK CONNECT UNDERNEATH. ON TOP OF FRIDGE THERE IS A COVER OVER THE DOOR BRACKET. REMOVE THAT COVER. THEN REMOVE THE 2 OR 3 SCREWS HOLDING BRACKET TO TOP OF FRIDGE. THEY USUALLY ARE 5/16TH SCREWS.MAKE SURE THE HAVE DOOR SHUT OR SOMEONE HOLDING THE DOOR WHEN DOING THIS. AFTER REVING SCREWS AND BRACKET LIFT DOOR UP OFF BOTTOM HINGE AND WATER LINE FROM DOOR WILL COME OUT WITH IT.

I just got a used GE Profile Refridge and would like to change the door from left opening to right side opening. How would I do that?

Hi. Look carefully at the door and check to see that there are buttons on the side of the door opposite of the hinge. Those buttons conceal the alternate set of screw holes for the hinges. If there are no predrilled holes on the other side of the door then it is not reversible.

That said, If you do locate those buttons, unscrew the hinges from the door, have a helper there as the door will be heavy. Once the door is off, remove the hinges, then move them to the opposite side and reattach the door to the fridge. Put those buttons in the new open holes. J.

GE Profile leaking onto floor

Clean the drain pan and drain line in the back of the freezer section behind the cover underneath the evaporator coil. (hint: use turkey baster with hot water) Make sure water drains when you pour it in. If it doesn't - also clean drain tube on the back of the unit behind the cover. When done - put the tube exactly where it was.
Good luck! :)

Fridge door not closing 100% at the top.

Loosen the screws holding the top door hinge. Pull up on the freezer door and hold it while you re-tighten the hinge screws.

Top freezer door does not close tight

Sounds like the top hinge is loose. If the hinge has a cover, remove it then hold the door in the correct position and tighen the hinge screws.

My pts25lhp is not cold at all in the freezer and the fridge, they are both at 62 deg. I have disconnected the fridge to defrost. What do you think is the cause of this?

Your model will stop running the compressor if the mother board fails. WR55X10942 Main Control Board. Need to pull it away from the wall and unplug and remove the cover over the main control board. Need to examine both sides for burn marks or signs of heat. Be back shortly with photos and what to look for, Thanks, Sea Breeze

The door handle on the freezer of my GE Profile Bottom Freezer Refrigerator came off.

Hi, Please get me the model # from the label inside the refrigerator and I will look this up for you. Most handles have a set screw that tightens down.

Fitting an integrated fridge freezer!

Hi Gareth. I fitted a door to my Hotpoint hsz2321L today. I used self tapping screws through the brackets into the fridge door sides. Looking at the old fridge that came out showed that this was the method used previously. No seal is broken and so the fridge is working perfectly. I do have an issue re-fitting the door onto the new fridge though. The pivot hinge on my fridge doesnt give enough clearance and so it catches on the unit at the side of it. The old fridge (a Bosch) cad cabinet hinges that would sort of concertina out to give clearence. Anyway, good luck.
