I don't know. Dewalt does not see the brushes separately, by the way. The brushes are included with the part number 391886-01SV Motor and Pinion, purportedly.

you cant replace the brushes on this drill it is a sealed motor. go this site the replacement motor is $ 38.77 http://www.ereplacementparts.com/dewalt-dc759ka-type-18v-cordless-drill-parts-c-1009_
Sounds like your brushes are either damaged or the armature is failing the current. Remove the brushes first and inspect them, that is where your arcing is coming from. If the brushes appear ok, your problem is in the armature itself. Regardless of low use, if you store the unit with the battery attached, there are issues with the current draw while stored.
the brush assembly slides out of the back of the motor. I suggest going to Dewaltservicenet.com and downloading a breakdown for this tool before starting. I don't think that the brushes are going to be your only problem though.
Some cordless Dewalt drills do not have open motors allowing access to the brushes. However there are a few styles that do.
If you want to check, open your drill. Remove the screws from the housing. Then remove half of the housing. You can see the motor at the back of the tool. If there are vents at the back of the motor you may be able to see the brushes the removable type are connected to a gray or tan piece of plastic mounted at the back of the motor.
If the brushes are from a removable style you can purchase a brush set. If they are hidden in the motor. You will have to change the whole motor.
You can check the Dewalt Service Net web site to find out.
the brushes are made to slide into the side of the motor. gently pull up on them. Also I would recommend that you go to Dewaltservicenet.com and type in your model number for a parts explosion and part number for replacement brushes. Let me know
some models have external brushes for easy changing - when the brushes wear down you can easily change them for new ones, some models have this feature ,it is only of use if you are using your cordless drill on a daily basis.
