Samsung front loader. Why does filter only click when rotated counter-clockwise?

If you have a top front small panel, unscrew 3 or 4 screw then you can pop out the cover. The pump is right there, you can counter clockwise the filter out and clean the pump. Be aware to do it with the power off.
If you don't see the front small panel, you have to open the back cover at the back of the unit.

You'll need to remove the lower kickplate to gain access to the pump, which will be located right in the front, usually close to center. You'll see the round section of it which you'll be able to turn counter clockwise and unscrew. This is the filter to the pump.

Yes you need to turn it counter clock wise and pull toward you. It should be a little hard to remove due to the o ring seal.

LE error codes on LG front loads are usually caused by the filter being clogged. Remove the small door on front left of machine and remove the filter Some water will come out . Clean the filter and reinsert it and see if that solves the problem

F 21 means slow drain if you can here the pump that means something pluging it. remove lower kick plate . the pump will be there remove cleanout counter clockwise turn .put back together.. hope this helps...good luck

Remove the lower plastic panel at the front of washer.
The filter is located at the bottom front right.
Unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean.
Have some cloths handy as thetre will be some water that will come out.

The filter is in the refrigerator section in the space behind the vegetable bin. Thus pull the bin out to change your filter. Then remove the cap by rotating it counter-clockwise. Remove the old filter (turn 90 degrees counter-clockwise and then pull out) and then take the protective cap off your new filter. Slide the new filter into the housing and then rotate clockwise 90 degrees. The alignment marks should indicate the filter is locked into place. Then replace the cap. Remember to run water through the dispenser for several minutes to clear the lines.

(I don't have a manual for the RS2630WW; however, the Samsung RS2630SW should have the filter in the same place.)

since that is not a valid / complete model #, it could be many different styles, locations...in the fridge, it could be twist style filter, counter clockwise rotation, could be a push in style, in which case there is a release button to remove, it could be located inthe toe plate under the doors, again, counter clockwise rotation

these units are usually set up to have the beater rotate in a clockwise direction facing front. If they get stuck, it is usually due to excessive wear or the hexed end has been lubed and has created a suction seal in it's counter part. Try rotating the beater in a counter clockwise direction while holding the drive wheel pulley stationary. Be sure to unplug unit first. this has worked for me in the past but can be very difficult at times.
