Question about Miscellaneous
My Garage Door it doesn't open. I replace the RPM Sensor but still the same could you please I need your help, I'll appreciate for your help.
Check the sensors, usually located near the bottom of the lift rails on each side of the door, they need to be aligned, usually most have a led light that is green when aligned. If anything is blocking the path of light between them, as in, they cannot see each other, maybe from misalignment or something in the way, the door will not open or close. Some doors also have a safety sensor on the bottom of the door itself, it is meant to activate if it touches something like toy or something on the ground. sometimes they can be faulty for some reason and prevent the door from working, these are meant to be safety switches to prevent kids from being crushed or otherwise hurt. Next, see if you can open and close the door manually, is it "free" up and down. Most units if it "feels" restriction or resistance they will not operate, another internal safety switch. Next, can you operate the door from the switch in the garage, but not the remote, if so, check the battery in the remote.
