E027 0100 05 Title Error in supply with Y Developing Assembly
Description Failure in detection about the changes of ON => OFF =>
ON with the sensor which detects a full rotation of the supply
screw within the specified period of time.
Remedy 1. Check the damage of the Developing Coupling.?
If it's damaged, replace the Developing Assembly.?
2. Check the damage of the coupling (with the Developing
Assembly) at the Host Machine side.?
If it's damaged, remove the Main Drive Unit to replace the
coupling.?
3. Turn the motor as a single unit while the Drum/Developing
Assembly is removed to check rotation of the Main Drive
Unit.?
If it does not rotate, replace the Motor.?
If the above measures do not solve the problem, replace the
Drum Driver PCB (UN4).?
If there still remains the problem, replace the Main Drive
Unit.?
4. Remove the Hopper Unit and manually turn the Supply
Input Gear to check rotation.?
If it's results in NG, replace the Hopper Unit.
The Toner Supply Screw Rotation Sensor detected rotation error within the specified period of time.

[Related parts] R1.01 - Harness between the Feed/Drum Driver PCB (UN2/J225) and the Developing Motor (Bk) (M8/ J6011) - Harness between the Feed/Drum Driver PCB (UN2/J212) and the Toner Sensor Relay PCB (Bk) (UN42/J1430) - Developing Motor (Bk) (M8) - Developing Assembly (Bk) - Main Drive Assembly - Set-on Hopper Assembly - Feed/Drum Driver PCB (UN2) [Remedy] Perform the following in the order while checking whether the error is cleared. 1. Check that the Developing Coupling of the Developing Assembly is not damaged. 2. Check that the Developing Coupling of the Main Drive Assembly is not damaged. 3. Check/replace the related harness/cable, connector and parts.
hi. remove the drum unit from the machine and verify the contact in the back side of the unit . maybe is dirty . if problem persist you need to try another drum . if problem peristaltic after that maybe there is damage in the hvt electronic board
If you confirm about film's inside lubrication then cheak out for gear inside fixing drive assembly . open front door , open inner cover then open the drive assembly from the left and cheak the gears.
Hello, this is error for fixing film rotation. There is no reset code, you need to replace fixing film in fixing unit, Fixing unit is located under left sideway door above drum unit ( green roller ).
Hello, first, did you install complete Canon original drum unit or just replaced with not genuine low quality drum? Maybe the problem is in bad quality of drum. In original drum unit you get whole unit with new drum, blade and charge roller.
Second, you should inspect the developing cylinder, he is magnetic and in some cases something like paper clip or other metal dirt can stuck on it and cause breakage or damage of drum surface. I recomend you to remove the toner unit, vacume it and check for foreign materials, also rotate the developing cylinder and look for damages or foreign materials.
try to set the toner a few times more, this error code is developer trouble.So it could be that toner isnt recognized, not properly inserted, or you have some tape leftovers on toner, or you have broken developer unit, or ...
