I have no schematic so I cannot help you. Do you know somebody that has one, if so take a picture of it. Normally if I am not super familiar with something I take pictures before taking apart.
This is so so so f-ing ridiculous....I just can not find a picture of the inside of this Amp there is an orange wire on THE INSIDE OF THIS ALPINE 3552 DUO B CIRCUIT 4,3,2, AMP that is coming from 3 different places and tied to gether with a nother wire that was sticking out of the Amp my instinct tells me,... it's orange so probably needs power,,so I gave it power and the Amp come on but the light is orange not blue or green....and being on for a couple of minutes it shuts off ..I CAN NOT FIND A PICTURE OR WIRING DIGRAM OR SCHUMATIC the only pic I can find is to dam blurry to even see the wires uuuuuuuuhhhhhhgggggg
Try shutting the igniton off for 10seconds and turning back on. See if it resets. If it doesn't check your wiring (disconnect the speaker wire) and then try again to see if the short is there. Check your power/ground wire too. If all is well with wiring you have a faulty amp
Disconnect the speaker wires from the amp, then try it again. If the error message doesn't appear, try connecting the speaker wires back to the amp one by one.
The error message is due to some sort of overcurrent in the amp. If the error does not go away when the speaker wires are disconnected, the issue is most likely with the amp itself and will need professional repair.
The amplifier probably has shorted output transistors. If the amp gives the same error message with the speaker wires disconnected from the amp, the amp needs to be repaired.
Some 4-Runners have a factory system that uses a separate amplifier to power the rear speakers. In this case you need to activate the amplifier using the blue/white remote output from your Alpine deck. It sounds like the wire that activates the amplifier is currently attached to the deck's blue "power antenna" output, so that the amplifier is only on when the tuner is selected.
Disconnect whatever is attached to the blue wire behind the deck, and attach it to the blue/white wire instead. That should solve the problem.
