Question about The Office Equipment & Supplies

CD will not load on my Microboard G4 CD printer/duplicater

I have a Microboards G4 cd printer/duplicator, which will not advance the CDs. It did for the printing test, but rejects the CD before the writing portion of the process. The media light is not lit, which normally is. What would cause the CD not to load properly?

The Update Firmware feature is used to update the controller firmware.
1. To update the firmware: Place the firmware CD into the reader drive (top).

I have EZ Dupe 7 duplicator . It can not duplicate DVD to DVD , the message appear in the screen is "CAN'T DUPLICAT DVD TO CD " but I put blank DVD into the drives even I tried for more...

I would suggest uninstalling the software, reinstalling it and then making sure that you have all of your updates on the software and the firmware updates on the DVD drive.

You've got an expensive unit (see below for Press Release), with a built-in CD/DVD reader/writer.
Given that your unit could be six years old, it's possible that the reader/writer has "died".

It seems to be a "stand-alone" unit -- not something that requires either Mac OSx or Windows XP/Vista/7 to operate.

I'm guessing that _ANY_ IDE (not 'SATA') HP-brand reader/writer, provided that it has a "LightScribe" capability, could be purchased, and could be inserted to replace the "dead" reader/writer. For about $100, it's worthwhile to try this "substitution" to revive your unit.

Clarion CZ209 Error 6 when playing Burned CDs

I could be way off base, however, the Clarion may be looking for some small piece of code that for whatever reason, does not burn when using the piece of software causing the E6 fault. This is likely some protocol designed specifically to prevent (or at least slow down) duplication of copyrighted music.

You can bounce it off of them directly, however I would be surprised if they would offer support for duplicated materials due to all of the copyright legalities these days. Clarion customer support directly here:

I trust this information proves beneficial.

Microboards DX 2 DVD Publisher

May just be the type or mil/thickness of the labels on the cds. Try buying stick on labels and and putting them on prior to burning. They are only $6 at walmart for 20. This will tell you if it is an internal issue or if it is a mil issue
