On my Dometic RV refrigerator. The freezer works but the main fridge does not?

The freezer works but the main fridge does not. Outside air temperature, high desert, is above 100.

So if the freezer is working fine but the refrigerator isn't, you probably have airflow problems. In many cases, the freezer moves cool air into the fridge using a diffuser. Sometimes, the diffuser duct gets clogged up with ice, and you can verify this by listening to the evaporator fan.Jun. 13, 2019

this is a dometic rm3962 the fan is on the outside.

Freezer works fine on propane but not the fridge

You may wish to check the flue clear anything that you find. Old birds next etc. Also make sure the flame and orifice are clean free from debris or rust. Propane should burn blue not orange. Incorrect gas setting if the flame is orange. Some yellow at the tip is ok. Proper adjustments are critical. Have you tried the unit on AC?
Other tips I have read indicate possible freezing in the back.
Defrost freezer completely as some here mentioned and restart see if this helps. Here is a good RV forum I saw good tips worth investigating.

If your not comfortable cleaning the jets and adjusting the flame have a professional do this. Safety comes first!

Well first of all solution # 1 pertains to household refridgerators..RV models have no fan inside maybe outside,But I would find out if it gets cold/freezes with 120 volt and or LP(propane) and look trrough the internet and download your model service manual.

I have a dometic rv fridge. it works on the 120 v but not on propane. acutually the freezer works and the fridge is warm, when the propane is running the fridge

I'm not sure what the problem may be but you could try calling All Seasons RV Appliance Parts & Service. There number is 1-800-344-0673 they have helped me in the past. That and there tech calls are free so it wouldn't hurt to give them a call.

try moveing the thormister up in the refer it is on the right hand side of refer inside refer box if this does not help use a fan and blow it tru outside vent on low

Tuna, it sounds like your thermistor is bad. Once the fridge reaches 40 degrees, the thermistor is supposed to tell the board to stop cooling and maintain. You can test it with an Ohmmeter.
