You would need to use a meter or test light to find out what exactly is dead. It could be a short in the fuse box, or a bad connection in the harness, or at the battery or starter. You may need a repair book or shop manual to get the wiring diagrams. If nothing on the truck works, you would start at the battery cables and work back to the key switch.
I have been having the same problem. I was searching for the solution and found your question. Yesterday I tried the last thing I could think of and it worked. I unplugged everything from the black module. I left it over night I was coming home from work and wouldn't be going out to my car anymore but 15-30 minutes should be fine. Once I plugged everything back in, I was able to get into a programming mode. I was trying to change the start time. Hope this helps!
Try start up in Safe Mode press F8. Choose Safe Mode, when at the choice window, to select either Safe Mode Desktop, OR System Restore, chooses system restore and choose a time before you had the "Problem" and follow instructions. This should get you back.
