How do you know your kitchen aid subra oven is in Farenheit or celcius

I tried the door open and hold the broil button before and it worked, but now its acting up again and the door and broil button is not working. oven will not go above 75 theres a small o after the temp. is that farenheit or celcius

Open the door and hold the broil button down for 10 second. This should change it.

To Change ?C to ?F: Press OPTIONS, then 1 on the keypad for Fahrenheit. To convert back to Celsius , press OPTIONS, then 1 again on the keypad.Nov. 23, 2017

We a kitchen aid oven the door was accidentally lock. Can you find out how to open it? Whirlpool owns kitchen aid

  • Look for a manual lever to unlock the oven. If there is one, it will probably swing back and forth horizontally, just below the upper edge of the oven door

  • Swing the locking lever, if one is present, all the way to the left. This should unlock the oven. If there is no manual lever to unlock the oven, it may be unlocked using push-button controls.

  • 3

    Check to see if the oven is in a self-cleaning cycle, or has just completed a self-cleaning cycle. If so, the door will unlock automatically once the oven has finished the cleaning cycle and cooled completely, which may take several hours. You cannot unlock the oven before it has cooled.

  • 4

    Unlock the "Clean/Off" button. Depending on the brand and model of your oven, the button may display both of these designations or just one. If your oven door is locked, but the oven is not warm and is not in a cleaning cycle, unlock it by pressing and holding the "Clean/Off" button.

    To switch it to Farenheit..press and hold the BROIL button for up to ten seconds and the display of the broil temp will change from a number display to the letter F then push clear/off button...if later on it needs to be switched back to C do the same thing

    Hi, well i have seen this many many times, and what happens is that when the auto clean function is invoked, well it heats up the inside to a very very high temperature, in excess of 700'C. Often this destroys the temperature, thermistor that controls the oven, unless that is repair the doors stay locked.

    Self cleaning
    Maryann, try shutting the breaker off for 5 minutes and see if the door unlocks. Im assuming the oven has cooled down. If that doesn't work try holding the cancel and broil pads for 3 seconds. This will put it into the quik test mode. Once in this mode press the clean button. This should toggle between lock and unlock. Don't know if this will work for you but it's worth a try..Catriver...post back.

    CDA Oven clock resetting itself I have a CDA oven Model DV940SS/1 and for a few weeks now the clock keeps resetting itself to 12:00 and flashing. We have reset the time on the clock and it will then flash back to 12:00. I have tried turning it off at the switchboard (I cannot get to the plug as it built in) but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? The oven does work without it albeit we can't use the timer and I do miss the clock as we use it regularly
