My Sharp LC58Q7330U does not stay on. The standby light blinks twice red then shuts off (I can see the startup picture by shining a light through the back where the backlight wires run.) I put a MM on the wires and seen high voltage during startup, but drops steadily down to 0 volts when trying to power on. Should I be looking to replace the powerboard or backlight...or? I dont want to take apart till parts are order and job is to be done

Re:
What is happening is the backlights have shorted diodes and they are drawing to much current, the protection circuitry in the power board is shutting the supply down, new lamps will positively fix it

The continuous flashing standby lamp on Hisense (Sharp) sets indicates backlight inverter shut down. If you replace your LED backlights it should fix the set. The issue is on a set of that size handling the panel without damaging it isn't easy. It could be repaired by a service enter but be prepared to shell out over $300 for parts and labor.
Most likely it indicates that there is an error. When the light is blinking all of the time. You will need to troubleshoot to narrow down the problem and find the solutions. Problems can occur and happen and show up from hardware issues or the firmware that is installed on the TV.
The 2 slow one long blink code for Sharp/Element TV's is backlight inverter over current/voltage shut down and not a board issue. Replace the backlights and the set should work like new
do you have a dim screen? if you put a torch to the screen at an angle can you see the picture?if so this means the backlight is out, it could be the inverter board or the bulbs themselves though this is unlikely.do you get the 24Vgoing to the backlight from the psu?
