Absence of horizontal scan. Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal line output stage circuit. Check for any loose soldering at any of the components at this stage circuit. It is a common fault to Sony sets, that there happens some loose solder joints at this stage. Check for it too.

faults & possible causes to LCD screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent. Search the site by type in the brand name of your set, in its search bar at the right side column, and press enter. See it in Webview with mobile or by desktop. Mobile View has no search box.
There are some practical experience described by the author of second site. To get them collectively, just type in "my service table today" in the search box at the right column and press enter.

The fault is with its vertical scan output section circuit itself. An IC failure, or a loose solder terminal/s can cause this problem. If you wish to get more details, surf this link.

The single horizontal line is a problem with the vertical circuit. Look for a small flat id attached to a heatsink that should be marked LA7837 or something similar. Try resoldering the pins of this IC first. If that does not resolve it, replace the IC.
When you see white lines at the top of the screen, it means that the pump-up capacitor next to the vertical output IC is bad and the IC is about to quit. When the output finally quits, you get a black screen with possible dim spots. The vertical output IC and its pump-up cap will have to be replaced, and the little fuse resistors next to the flyback in the + and - supplies to the vertical output IC must be checked too. If you have experience working on TV's then you can do it yourself, but if not then have the set serviced by a tech experienced in Sony sets.
if the set has a previous vertical line problem and a white horizental line only comes in the cross of the screen and you turned the tv on for a time while the problem is solved that mean you have make a burnt line to the screen ,
but if you are the tv owner and nothing of that happens so you have a problem in faulty dried capaciter in the vertical live part search for 33uf 160 v or 22u 160 v and alter
