Might be a case of opening up the M50 as the previous poster did and wiggle connectors and components until the sound is affected. If you have some electronics experience, it should be fairly easy to figure out which board to investigate.

I want to record from my Korg M50 to Cubase LE4 on my laptop.

Hello, To record into a lap top you will need a USB mixer, your audio output from the SYNTH will go into the mixer, you use the midi USB cable from the mixer to the lap top. this will help pre amplify your synth to normal audio levels. hope this helps.

While using korg m50 editor using usb data cable there is no sound from my lap.the sound is only from my head phone connected to my keyboard directly?

Are you connecting to the laptop and using it as a midi controller? You can record midi notes from the keyboard and send them to your laptop via USB using any midi sequencer program (reason, logic, etc). Create a midi track, select the input of that track as your keyboard, then hit record to play some midi notes. To hear what you record, you have to set the output of the midi track to whatever midi sounds or instrunents you have installed on your laptop.

If you are trying to record the actual audio sound the keyboard makes, use an audio program such as cubase, sonar, audacity, pro-tools, and either mic the keyboard, or connect one of the other audio outputs (1/4" TRS) to an audio input on your DAW, and record an audio track that way (as opposed to a midi track).

Low Volume using Kaoss Pad Mini while DJing

I'm having the problem too...I'm thinking that maybe getting the DC adapter MAY fix it though as stated in the Manual: "...The output level of the mini-KP will be smaller than its input level. This is because the attenuator circuit is connected at the input section, considering that the mini-KP is used on battery power." so maybe the dc connector will increase output volume?

Korg mini kp only some effects working. Low sound output

I have the same Kaoss Pad mini and have exactly the same problem. I have asked for a solution as well!

The only way I have been able to use live is to turn up master on mixer to compensate, but this is incredibly hard to do if you're not always going through the KP as you have to adjust master volume each time up or down.

I haven't heard any volume problems with the full size Kaoss Pads, think it might just be a KP mini problem.

How to use the four ouputs in korg pa800

Go to www.korgpa.com/pa_root/pdf/pa800/Pa800-200UM-ENG.pdf.Page 226 has the audio output section.Page 19 has the rear panel explanation. Left/Right: These are the main stereo outputs. Use them to send the final stereo mix to an external device. Connect either to get a mono output. Set the output level with the Master Volume slider. 1/1: These are the sub outputs. Use these to create a stereo submix of just some tracks or to output just a single instrument to be mixed alone or to be processed or amplified externally. Not: the Master Volume slider has no effect on these outputs. Signal is sent dry with no effects applied. Hope this helps.

Need help connecting Korg C-303 (Concert Piano) and Korg Symphony Model O3 (Orchestra Module). Have no documentation for the Symphony module.

Assuming the C-303 has a MIDI out, connect a MIDI cable from the MIDI output of the C-303 to the MIDI input of the symphony module.

Connect two audio cables (mono 1/4 inch) from the symphony module to a suitable audio amplification system OR possibly into auxilary audio input jacks of the C-303, if they exist.

I have a Symphony module but not the piano you have and I have mine connected to a Yamaha organ.
