You should always use the official video game consoles instead of the clone consoles. Clone consoles are notorious for having games packs not work on them at all.

Hi i just got a fc twin and i am trying to get a nes mario/ duckhunt game to go in and i cant figure it out.. i have other games but they wont go in eaither

The front slot is made for NES games such as mario/duckhunt, and the back slot is made for SNES games. Make sure you put them in the right direction as well.

Good Luck,

FC twin will not play SNES games. produces sound only

Try cleaning the cartridges, DON'T USE RUBBING ALCOHOL!!!!!! This can ruin the cartridge, there is a cleaner that you used to be able to buy (haven't look for one in a while). Check with your local game store or on ebay.

Fc twin won't save data

The problem with "clone" systems, is that they don't do everything JUST like an original (NES). Although, games such as Zelda, have a battery inside of them that can wear out and die over time. They are very cheap to replace and this will usually solve your problem. Just note the code written on the battery and do a search on google for more batteries.

Both my FC Twin and Retro Duo (brand new) have issues with nes...

If it's a flat screen especially, there will be major resolution problems. I know the laser gun doesn't work at all on flat screens and some newer TVs. You gotta play NES on an old school TV any way. It makes the experience much more authentic.

Why aren't my games playing on the nintendo fc twin?

The FC Twin connects through an RCA connector, and can be hooked into a surround sound system. When using stereo and surround output from these systems, NES sounds and music may seem very different from their typical mono output. Using output modes that properly generate mono sound, either through a single center speaker or cloned to multiple speakers, the sound output sounds mostly identical to the original NES. The FC Twin does not produce some sounds faithfully, even with mono output; sound effects in the Super Mario Bros. series games will for example immediately seem different. Nevertheless, some later models of the console produce NES sound much more faithfully than units made closer to launch. Recent models produce sound with complete fidelity.

I've had my FC Twin console for about a month now. A problem that has occured with some SNES games, so far Super Metroid, Super Mario World and some parts of Super Mario RPG, the screen will move up. For...

its more than likely the game... If you shake the game, and you can hear it rattling or something, then more than likely it got crushed or demagnetized, or set out in extreme heat.
