Have haier HWRO5XCM air conditioner. Outside temp is 75 degrees and I have set on 76. Freezes up and spits ices and water. Help

Clean indoor filter , and coils in unit (you must remove from window and remove top from unit to expose coil, After cleaning coils prop up unit so it slopes to rear and spray back and forth at bottom of front coil until drain is clear . Never turn unit upside down , and do not get water inside of fan motor . Also clean evaporator blower wheel . With unit clean and drained out place in direct sunlight for at least 2 hours to completely dry before replacing top and reinstalling in window , or just drain out , reinstall and leave unit unplugged for at least 24 hours to dry before testing . If unit is clean and still icing , check to see if thermostat works (place object in front of unit to direct cold air from top of unit onto thermostat temperature sensor and compressor should cycle off, if not replace thermostat . If unit still ices you will need a pro to repair sealed system of unit or simply buy a new one .
Thanks,
Alex

I want to exhaust a portable A/C out of a 2'w X 6'h, crank open window. Obviously, with no sliding window, the slider system won't apply. So, what are common solutions for venting out crank...

I use a 1" metal strap that is heavy enough to support the unit to the window frame, then I cut plexiglass to fill in the opening. I typically drill small holes to attach the metal strap. Remember that it is very important that the unit slope downwards towards outside for the condensation to run OUT.

Brand new GE room size ac unit (1 week old) is spiiting water out of the air vent into the room. Unit 100% level.

If a brand new unit is spitting water, i waould suggest that it is short of refrigerant... Get your installer back or the Manufacturer.. You need to hold An ARC licence to do this ( In Australia)

PR650NBRT Hot Water Heater (mfd. by State Select?) 50 gallon , natural gas, expansion tank is installed on outlet pipe Serial #AO1124263, 150 PSI, In the upstairs furnace room (where HWH is) the collection...

The one drip per second is about correct, it's the water vapour coming from th combustion of the gas that condenses But is shouldn't puddle, it should completely drain immediately so something is wrong there - most likely it was badly installed.
The rest of the puddles are also created by a bad install: an bad seal at the pipes connections.
That nut on top is the safety valve, nothing should go out of there. If there is water seeping from it then the expansion tank is completely full and that is dangerous, it can fail.
I must say that the entire system has been installed by monkeys. It should be dismantled and all the connections redone by someone who really knows how to do it properly.

Droplets of water are coming from the vents and it's making a noise like something is rattling around inside. What could this be?

The problem with this unit is that the evaporator, or the part of the air conditioner that 'creates' the colder air is not draining correctly. Pertaining to a window unit, it needs to be installed correctly with the correct amount of tilt toward outside, to allow the evaporator condensation water to drain. You may also want to check to make sure there aren't any plugged drain holes in the air conditioner housing.

The rattling you hear is most likely the blower fan spinning against the held water inside the unit.

I hope this helps! :)

Frigidaire window unit spits water into room

To be honest with you this is a good and a bad thing. The bad thing is that it is spitting water into the room. The good thing is that the unit is running Great. The amount of humidity it is removing. is greater and faster than it can run down and off the coil. See if there is any possible way to deflect the water. i would recommend trying to attach a piece of screen door material. It will likely keep the water from going through it.

Door gasket or sealOver time, door gaskets and seals harden and lose their ability to seal properly. You can't repair the seals. You need to replace them if they've begun to leak.

Spits out alot of water!

It needs to be installed sloping slightly outside. It is not meant to be level. Use boards or whatever to do this. If this doesn't solve the problem the drain channel is plugged. Take off the outer case and look at the bottom there should be some kind of channel from in front to the back. Use a turkey baster or something to flush it. The back may be fairly deep to hold some water. Don't drill a hole. Some units keep some water in the back so the outside fan can throw it through the condensor to help cool it.
