Question about Cameras

1 Answer

Hi, I am in Rwanda trying to do a photo workshop with some kids. I was given a Sony Cybershot S750 to work with (in addition to my own cameras), but the owner does not have the driver on her computer and I cannot find a driver for this computer for MAC. I have a Powerbook Mac OS X Version 10.5.8. I really need to be able to download pictures to this camera and it's hard to believe that I can't find the proper driver so that my MAC will recognize it. I really would appreciate some help. Thank you

Try using a separate card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-S750. It will not turn off or on. The battery is full. It turned on earlier today and then suddenly just would not turn off or on. The lens is in the "on" position...

I have a similar Sony (DSC-L1) and have had the same problem. Remove the battery and SD card, vacuum (or blow on) the lens surround. Seems that grit has stuck between the lens and the cover.
If all else fails, try inserting the battery and gently pushing the lens the lens in. NOT guaranteed, but if this fails, try a photo dealer.

Date stamp function on Sony Cybershot S750 camera .How do I get the date stamp to appear on my photographs when transferred to the PC

The camera does not have a feature for stamping dates onto the photographs, but the information is stored with every picture. Just about any photo viewing program should be able to display it. Depending on the program and printer, you can choose to print the date on the picture, in the margins, or on the back. Please refer to the documentation for whatever program you use to print.

I cant delete file protected photos on my camera Cybershot dsc-s750

Please unprotect the images and try to delete the files. I have attached the Manual of the Camera where you can get the instructions to unprotect the images.

Please refer to page # 43 of the above Manual to unprotect the images.

Date stamp function on Sony Cybershot S750 camera

This Camera doesn't have the feature to superimpose the date on the pictures. By using the supplied Picture Motion Browser Software, you can print or save the pictures with date.
Refer the following link to use the supplied Picture Motion Browser Software to print or save the pictures with date.

Dark lines in background of picture its a sony cybershot dsc-s750

I think your camera chip is dying soon. Try taking a photo on a blank sheet of paper, black and white, see if there are lines. If there is, it shows that the camera chip is defective...
