By Following these steps you can easily setup your Netgear wifi range AC1750 extender

  1. Turn On Your Extender by plugging it into the power outlet, Wait till the extender is turned on and the power led light to stop blinking Once the device is fully booted up,
  2. Now open your web browser, enter mywifiext.net in your web browser if you are Are going to setup your range extender using the window device.
  3. Click on the New Extender Setup , Now Create a new account in case you do not have an account Already.
  4. Accept the term and conditions, Click Continue
  5. Now you will be asked whether you want to Configure your Netgear extender as a wifi extender or as an access point
  6. Click as a Wifi Range extender
  7. Now choose the network you wish to extend and click on the Next button
  8. Enter the password of your current wifi and click next
  9. Be Patience and wait for few seconds.

How to set up netgear ex6100 wifi range extender

  1. Plugin your extender in electrical outlet.
  2. Place your extender near your router when first time your are setting new extender.
  3. Launch any web browser and enter mywifiext.net. The New Extender Setup page displays.
  4. In the Password section, type the existing WiFi network password. Default user name is admin and password is password.

5. Click continue and a message box displays saying that your extender is connected to the new extender WiFi network

Now, you can connect your device to the extender network, go to the WIFI settings and connect to the extender's new network.

Netgear EX6100 Setup is successfully completed now place the extender at the desired location and enjoy seamless Connectivity.

Extender means it extends the existing Wifi or network. So the iPad now connects fine to the extender, but the extender needs to connect to the existing network either via Wifi or cable. You need to open from the iPad the admin page of the extender and find the connection details there to your existing network.
