SOURCE: Hooking up speakers to amp
YES ! This is usually ok, the speaker cabinet should contain a high pass filter or crossover on the tweeter to decouple it from the low frequency signals. My Linn Index speakers are wired like this.
SOURCE: Durabrand home theater speaker help
Your problem is simple; if you are using a player that does not have the 'center, rear right and rear left' functions, then those select speakers won't play anything. This happens to me a lot when I plug in my CD player to listen to my music because the CD player does not support those individual speakers; I can only hear the right and left, the speakers that it DOES support. If you are using a system that does have these functions, then I can't really help you there....
The easiest thing to do would be to go to an electronics store, look on the back of the remote control package and look for Durabrand.
It should come with a booklet with the setup codes.
Thats all I got for now.
Hope that helped, good lukc, please rate.
SOURCE: can a durabrand dvd home theater system, model
I have a sts92 system and run the tv sound through it for surround sound. My Tv has an AV out option, so I ran component cable from the AV out on the TV to the AV in on the sts92. When watching TV, turn on the theater system and set the function to AV in.
