By following these simple steps you canupdate update the firmware on your netgear Wi-Fi extende.
- First of all, connect your extender to your router Connect to your extender's Wi-Fi network.
- Visit at NETGEAR Suppor website
- Enter your extender's Model Number or Product Name.
- Click Downloads.
- Select a firmware version and click Download.
- Unzip the file if needed.
- Enter mywifiext.ne. in your web browse.
- Enter the extender admin user name and password.
- Click Firmware Update.
- Click the Browse button, then locate and select the firmware file that ends in .img or .chk.
- Click the Upload button. The firmware update starts and the extender restarts. The firmware update process takes about two minutes.
