2- Aim the remote control at the TV and press on TV. 3- Aim the remote control at the TV again and enter the code. 4- Try to turn off and on the TV from the remote control. If it turns off then the remote is working fine....
It ur high voltage is dead.Ur FBT,the flyback transformer is dead.The big block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to ur CRT(tv tube).That must be replace.
Replace EEPROM IC.+ solder any/all bad connects,
esp.tuner circuitry ground connections.
OR--cut open the trace between U1901 IC and
Q1903-E to restore sound.
