SOURCE: Green shadowing

if your tv is on warranty take it back to the supplier .if the warranty has expired then you will have to look at the convergence board it needs to be adjusted or replaced.also if you have speakers around your tv move them, that too can cause the green color problem.good luck my friend.

SOURCE: my tv has a green shadow behind everything on it

Tim,
Gee I'm pretty good with electronics and I've never heard that joke!
What you have there is a convergence problem. Your unit takes two STK392-110 Ic's at position numbers IK04 and IK05 respectively. Also check and replace as necessary Rk50 (2.7ohm /1w), Rk62 (2.2ohm /1w), Rk63 (150ohm /2w), Rk46 (1.8ohm /1w), Rk42 (3.3ohm /1w) And Rk43 (220 ohm 2w). In fact test all of the 2.2ohm resistors in the yoke return just out in front of the amps for change in value.
Also make sure to use Sanyo original Ics and not some asian knock-offs which are readily out there.. Get them from Acme in Florida http://www.acme-sales.net/index.shtml and rest assured you're getting Sanyo originals..

SOURCE: Panasonic PT-51HX41 rear projection tv showing shadow/double images.

Unplug the TV from the ac wall outlet for about 4 minutes then plug it back in and turn it on. If it still has a double image then tell me if it's affecting the menu screen from the TV (not the cable menu). And is the double image in red and blue?

Try 1465. However, you will still have to use your other remote to turn the unit on. :(

Dad powered off tv while tv was on. Now there is no picture, just audio. It is an RCA 42LED

Question edited for clarity. It is not a good idea to post your phone number to the 11 million annual viewers of this website.

Try power cycling it. Remove the wall plug for 5 minutes and plug it back in.

It looks like that set is a Walmart special, so it will be cheaply made. Try a factory reset

Remove lamp to see if it was not inserted correctly (easy mistake to make) and also make sure door on lamp was closed securely--a safety lever there will prevent set from working if door not engaging the lever.

Color in tv is very green you cant tell what suppose to be what i was watching cartoons with kids and the animal that suppose to be red was black i tried adjusting color temp and every thing even resetting...

If your using a tuner for your TV channels and you are using component video cables make sure that the red cable is not plugged into the audio socket. red blue and green cables should all be plugged into the "component" input on the tv not audio.

Red and green shadow lines

This 3-D problem is because to failure of convergence out ICs failure in TV and convergence ICs will be replaced.
If TV is Sony KP-51WS500 then check D board for STK392-560 and replace 02 ICs.
Required parts are available in Part Store.
