SOURCE: dishwasher stops after 10 minutes inlet/drain light flashing

I had the same problem on a 5 year old model. It was the main pump leaking from a perished seal causing the water protection microswitch to trip. This gives the symptoms you describe exactly. Parts cost from Miele was about £60 for a new seal. Fairly easy to fit.

SOURCE: outlet/inlet light flashing on miele dishwasher G674SC

Usually indicates a intake or drain fault - could be a plugged drain line at the garbage disposal or insufficient water coming into the unit

The water and soap are not coming out of the cleaner. It is heating and pulling air back through.

Related issue: In general, if plain water is not run through the system (and drained out!) after each use, the water can leave "boiler scale" in small inlet and/or outlet tubes on the heater (up inside the handle). If it fills the inlet/outlet tube, this will stop ALL water flow, even if you're not using the 'heat' function, because the water goes through the heater whether the heater is on or off. I was able to get the flow going by digging out the corrosion from inside the inlet/outlet tubes on the heater where the clear, plastic, inlet and outlet hoses attach. It's been working fine for a few years since the fix.

No hot water

I am afraid that you have burned the heating element out or an inline fuse is burned out

No hot water

Take these steps, ensure you are recieving correct voltage to the heater. If this has been confirmed, then using an ohmmeter, with the power turned off, check the resistance through you heaters. You should read a resistance through the heater(s). If you read OL, it means the heater is broken, and if you read 0 the heater is shorted. Hope this helps

When washer sits and door is open, I get about 3 inches of water in tub.

There are 2 possible reasons for this to happen.
1- you have a sticking water inlet valve, turn off suuply and see if it still fills, if it does not, then the valve or valves need to be replaced, if it still fills, then water is probably coming from sink waste if the drain outlet is connected to same, in this event, raise outlet hose higher up to stop syphoning action..
Pleaase rate my solution.
Thanks.

G 892 intake light on

Reset the program by holding down the start button. It will be blinking. Then try the same wash selection and start it. If you wired correctly the drain pump will run 30 seconds. If the intake light comes on in 5 seconds and the drain pump is still running then you have a leak. Miele dishwashers have a safety system that catches water and triggers the alert. Ifthis is the case, there's nothing you can do but get a repair person to pull the machine out and find the leak. If the pump does drain only 30 seconds, then it will stop the pump and let water in. If it fills okay then it will circulate the water and if you haven't oversudsed it [ Energy Star machines use much less water and therefore make much more suds if you fill up the dispenser too high with detergent ] the suds will not trip the pressure switch. Otherwise it will start to heat the water. If the intake light comes on again it's important to know when it does. The computer inside evaluates 100's of steps. The Techs at Miele will need to run it with you on the phone. They have scripted access to the electronic memory and you participate to find the information. They can determine if you can fix it or not.

Doesnt wash properly

Check the inlet screens on both sides of the pipes. (Plug off the wall first) Open your inlet full before wash. Check outlet filter to clean out, check to see if any debris in pump. Is this machine second hand? If so you can download a manual.......
