Samsung tv repair

Hi there,

I was a Samsung Tech for over 3 years, I would take it apart and look for loose connections to the panel. If that does not work, you will have to start out with smaller parts. In my opinion its the main board. Whats the model number?

If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jason_70466cb634a57543

My Samsung LED tv (UN46EH5300) bought 2 years ago is powering itself off and turning back on. Just before it does this it becomes not responsive to the remote. Smarthub wont come up and it wont allow

Had this too. I found that I had accidentally plugged a cat 5 cord into two ports of my router (like a loop). As soon as I unplugged the offending cat 5, TV quit powering on and off. Fixed it.

Is there a reset button on television? storm last night but the set was off?

There is no such external button; to reset. To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

UN46EH5300 adjust screen size to get whole picture and closed captions

Sounds like you have it on zoom setting. Go to the picture menu and scroll through the options. Start with 16:9 and try others if this doesn't work. If you've already tried this, you may have to go into screen setting and manually draw the picture in horizontally and vertically - but make sure you've got it on 16:9 and paused on a typical picture before you mess around with these settings.

My samsung un46eh5300 keeps powering off and powering on every 3 minutes, what could be causing this?

Check whether the 'off timer' is set to 3 minutes or so. If not, the fault is with its main board. Contact any service technician. For more information go to http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
