The reason why your faceplate keeps on falling out for your car stereo is because that part needs to be replaced.

I need unlocking code of radio cd hm-5064

Instructions
    • 1Remove the faceplate around your stereo. Slip a flat object under the edge and gently pry it up. A flat-head screwdriver works well. There will be clips holding the faceplate in place, so feel for them. You may need to move your faceplate up or down to slide it out of position.
    • 2 Find and remove any screws holding the stereo in place.
    • 3 Slide the stereo component out far enough to see the label on top of the stereo. Write down the model and serial numbers of your car stereo component.
    • 4 Locate your VIN number at the base of the front window, driver side. If you can't read your VIN off the window, you will have it on your proof of insurance and title as well. Write it down.
    • 5 Locate your car manufacturer's toll-free Customer Service number and call them. Click on the link in the Resource section of this article and find your car manufacturer's toll-free number.
    • 6 Call the number and let customer service know you need your stereo code and have the vehicle's VIN number, as well as the model and serial numbers off the stereo. They will provide you with the code. If you are unsure how to input the code, be sure to ask for support at this time.

Unless you find a stereo body on ebay, a pawn shop or possibly goodwill, you can not buy just the body of the radio.

How do I unlock my Kenwood KDC-MP528 car stereo

To reset the code do the following:
1) Turn on the car.2) The faceplate rotates out and the CODE - - - - prompt appears.3) Press >>' and Auto keys simultaneously on the faceplate and hold for 4 seconds. (If the faceplate rotates back into the console push on the upper left top edge of the faceplate and it will flip back around. Press the Eject button and then try it again.)4) The screen will still say CODE, but the - - - - will disappear! When this happens press the 5 key on the remote twice and it enters a K on the display on the faceplate. Hit the >>' key on the faceplate.5) Press the 2 key on the remote three times and it enters a C on the display on the faceplate. Hit the >>' key on the faceplate.6) Press the 2 key on the remote once and it enters an A on the display on the faceplate. Hit the >>' key on the faceplate.7) Press the 7 key on the remote twice and it enters an R on the display on the faceplate. Hit the >>' key on the faceplate.8) The radio goes into All Off mode and you are set! Hit the SRC button on the faceplate to select CD, Radio, etc.

How do i detach the faceplate of a pioneer deh-p3700mp car stereo?

Normally it is the button on the top left or bottm right of faceplate. it will spring the faceplate out at an angle, then you just pull off.

Don't know what faceplate to buy for Kenwood Stereo SER# r8188309

So if i understand your question correctly, you still have the stereo in your dash, but the face has been stolen, is this correct, Because if this is the case you can remove the rest of the stereo from the dash and somewhere on this unit it will tell you what model it is.

Accidently removed the tiny screws behind faceplate

It could just be a plastic clip that broke. Most of the car stereo's ive taken apart only have a thin ribbon of wires that run into the contacts that your face plate connects to.If you actually took screws out of the faceplate then id put them back in and put it back into your stereo and see if it illuminates properly,if it does not then id search on E-BAY or contact pioneer and buy a replacement but most the time it would be cheaper to just buy new stereo. You might want to be more specific with the area you took screws out of,the way im reading it sounds like you unscrewed the screws in the face dock, not the faceplate.Hope this helps.
